Telemetry Short Courses

The European Society of Telemetry offers short courses about telemetry related topics. The courses will be held either at the customers facilities or at a central location near Munich.


In a first step, three courses will be offered:

1) General Overview about Telemetric Measures

2) Introduction into Telemetry related PCM Technology

3) Introduction into Telemetry related Radio Frequency Technologies


Courses about "Video" and "GPS" are planned. More information on request.


Each course will be offered in three different levels of basic knowledge and skills:

1) Basic Concepts Telemetry (Acquisition Systems, Recorder (Chapter 10), Transmitter, Frequencies, Antennas, Tracking, Frontends, Ethernet, Multiplexer, Companies)

2) IRIG 106 Chapter 4,8,9 (all about PCM)

3) IRIG 106 Chapter 2,3 (all about TM related Radio Frequencies)

4) Video (analog, digital, High Speed, Codec, Bearbeitungssoftware, Speicherung)

5) GPS + Synchronisation, Timing
