Pre-conference SHORT COURSE for free

COMPLETER.NET on behalf of SMARTRONIX and CALCULEX invites all conference participants to attend the pre-conference SHORT COURSE for free. The standard IRIG 106-17 Chapter 23 on MDL / Metadata Description Language has been publicized last summer: don't miss the opportunity to attend to the first Short Course on the new standard!

This course will provide an overview and details of the MDL (Metadata Description Language) which is documented in the IRIG 106, Chapter 23 published standards. It will also discuss the associated XML schema and the examples that are provided with the release. Participants will gain an understanding of the pros and cons of a common configuration language and configuration components in a telemetry system, as well as their logical and physical interrelationships. In addition to the presentation, this course will contain examples and exercises where participants will have an opportunity to modify configuration files. We encourage students to bring their laptop in order to fully participate. Schema, slides and exercises will be provided on a memory stick or CD-ROM for those who cannot use a memory stick.

The Short Course will be held in
